| 2 oz | unsweetened chocolate | 60 g |
| 2-1/2 cups | hot milk | 600 mL |
| 1/3 cup | sugar | 75 mL |
| 1/4 tsp | vanilla extract | 1 mL |
| 1/4 tsp | salt | 1 mL |
| 1/4 tsp | cinnamon, if desired | 1 mL |
| 1/4 tsp | unsweetened cocoa powder, if desired | 1 mL |
| 1 cup | heavy cream, whipped | 250 mL |
Break chocolate into pieces and place in blender container. Add hot milk, sugar, vanilla and salt. Cover and blend until chocolate is dissolved. Mix cinnamon and cocoa powder in a small dish. Pour hot chocolate into cups, top with whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon-cocoa mixture, if desired.
