| 3 | medium sweet onions | 3 |

| 1 | head butter lettuce | 1 |
| 1 cup | black olives | 250 mL |
| Vinaigrette | ||
| 1/2 cup | olive oil | 125 mL |
| 3 tbsp | orange juice | 45 mL |
| 2 tbsp | white wine vinegar | 30 mL |
| pinch oregano | ||
| salt and pepper to taste | ||
Salad
Peel and slice onions thinly. Peel oranges and slice thinly. Arrange onion and orange over a shallow dish of lettuce.
Slice olives and sprinkle over salad. Drizzle dressing over all.
Vinaigrette
Combine ingredients, mix well and chill before serving.
