| 1 cup | sugar | 250 mL |
| 1 cup | all-purpose flour | 250 mL |
| 1 tsp | baking powder | 5 mL |
| 1 | egg | 1 |
| 1/4 cup | margarine (1/2 stick) | 60 mL |
| cinnamon (optional) | ||
| 1 | large can (28 oz/796 mL) sliced peaches, drained | 1 |
In medium size bowl, mix sugar, flour, and baking powder together. Add egg and mix well with a fork.
Put the peaches in a medium size baking dish and sprinkle the flour mixture on top of peaches.
Slice the margarine up over the top. You can sprinkle with cinnamon, if desired.
Bake at 350°F/180°C for 30 to 35 minutes, until brown.
It is so easy and good. Everyone loves this cobbler.
