| 1/2 lb | butter (2 sticks) | 225 g |
| 2 cups | sugar | 475 mL |
| 6 | large eggs | 6 |
| 2-1/2 cups | all purpose flour | 600 mL |
| 1/4 tsp | baking soda | 1 mL |
| 1 cup | buttermilk | 250 mL |
| 8 | Hershey candy bars (1.75-oz/50-g) | 8 |
| 2 tsp | vanilla | 10 mL |
| 1 cup | chopped pecans, floured | 250 mL |
Cream butter until light and fluffy, gradually adding the sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add candy bars, vanilla and pecans, rolled in flour until well coated.
Pour batter into a greased and floured tube pan.
Bake in a 325°F/160°C oven for 75 minutes or until done.
Simple and easy... and delicious.
