| 2 cups | all purpose flour | 500 mL |
| 1/4 cup | sugar | 60 mL |
| 2 tsp | baking powder | 10 mL |
| 1 tsp | baking soda | 5 mL |

| 1 cup | chocolate chips | 250 mL |
| 2 cups | mashed, ripened bananas (3 large) | 500 mL |
| 1/2 cup | butter, melted | 125 mL |
| 1/4 cup | milk | 60 mL |
| 2 | eggs | 2 |
Preheat oven to 350°F/180°C. Grease muffin tins.
In a large bowl, sift flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Stir in chocolate chips. In a small bowl, blend bananas, melted butter, milk and eggs. Add this mixture to flour and stir with a fork just until blended. Do not over mix.
Fill muffin cups 3/4 full using large spoon. Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown and tooth-pick inserted in centre comes out clean.
