| 3 tbsp | fresh lime juice | 45 mL |
| pinch of nutmeg | ||
| dash of angostura bitters | ||
| 1 tsp | superfine sugar (or more, to taste) | 5 mL |
| crushed ice | ||
| to garnish: slice of orange, slice of lime; maraschino cherries; chunk of pineapple |
In a glass stir the rum, lime juice, nutmeg, angostura bitters and sugar (to taste) until the sugar has dissolved.
Fill a tall glass with crushed ice, pour over the rum mixture and stir well. Spear the sliced orange, lime, cherry and pineapple on a toothpick, place in the glass and serve.
