| 1 stalk | celery, finely chopped | 1 stalk |
| 1 can | tomato soup (10 oz/284 mL) | 1 can |
| 1 can | red kidney beans with liquid (19 oz/540 mL) | 1 can |
| 1/2 cup | water | 125 mL |
| 1 - 2 tbsp | chili powder | 15 - 30 mL |
| 1/4 tsp | garlic powder | 1 mL |
| salt and pepper, to taste | ||
| a little vegetable oil |
Sauté onions, green peppers and celery in a little oil, until vegetables are soft.
Add beef, breaking it up with a fork. Stir and cook until no red remains.
Add tomato soup, red kidney beans with juice, water, chili powder and garlic powder. Add salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 30 minutes.
