Ingredients
| 6 | whole apples | 6 |
| juice of 1 lemon | ||
| 3/4 cup | mayonnaise | 175 mL |
| 3/4 cup | sour cream | 175 mL |
| 1/2 tbsp | fresh lemon juice | 7 mL |
| 1/2 tbsp | sugar | 7 mL |
| 1/2 tsp | salt | 2 mL |
| Pinch ground white pepper | ||
| 1 cup | chopped celery | 250 mL |
| 3/4 cup | chopped walnuts | 175 mL |
| 12 | leaf lettuce leaves | 12 |
| 12 | walnut halves | 12 |
| 24 | orange segments | 24 |
Directions
Quarter, core, peel, and slice the apples. Place them in a bowl and mix with the lemon juice; set aside.
In a large bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, sugar, salt, and pepper.
Just before serving, add the apples, celery, and walnuts. Serve on a leaf of lettuce and garnish each serving with a walnut half and 2 orange segments.
