Ingredients

3 oranges 3
3 lemons 3
1 cup water 250 mL
2 cups sugar 500 mL
  pinch of salt  
1/4 cup corn syrup 60 mL
1 cup lemon juice 250 mL
4 cups orange juice 1 L
4 cups soda water 1 L
1 bottle dry white wine 1 bottle
1 bottle sparkling white wine 1 bottle

Directions

Spiral peel oranges and lemons and place peels and fruit in a saucepan.

Add water, sugar, salt and corn syrup. Heat to boiling and simmer 15 minutes, stirring as required. Cover and let cool.

Strain liquid into punch bowl. Squeeze fruit into liquid and reserve peels. Add juices and mix. Cool with ice, stirring occasionally.

Just before serving, add soda and wines. Add peels for color.
