Healthy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Ingredients

1/2 cup oat bran 50 g
1/2 cup whole wheat flour 50 g
1/2 cup all purpose unbleached flour 50 g
1/4 tsp allspice 1 mL
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon 2 mL
1 tsp baking soda 5 mL
1 tsp butter seasoning 5 mL
1 cup brown sugar 200 g
1/2 tsp salt 2 mL
3 cups rolled oats 450 g
1 1/4 cups raisins 175 g
1/4 cup canola oil 60 mL
2 tbsp nonfat yogurt 30 g
1/2 cup nonfat milk 125 mL
3 egg whites 3
2 tsp vanilla extract 10 mL

Directions

Preheat oven to 375°F/190°C.

Combine dry ingredients except rolled oats and raisins. Mix in wet ingredients. Add oats and raisins.

Drop by tablespoonful onto nonstick cookie sheet.

Bake at 375°F/190°C for 15 minutes, or until golden.

Remove cookies to a wire rack to cool.
